1. Fattoria la Peschiera, Morellino di Scansano DOC 2006, 13% 7/10
this red have pure natural purple color with a ruby hue, youthful, clean and brilliant. nose is lively at the beginning, presenting youthful cherry strawberry an violet note, no oak contact. fruity palate, fine and firmed tannin, mid finish, brightly balanced mid-hi acidity, juicy texture. it's developing will reach to its peak in 12~18 monthes. exellent quality for this purity.

2. Fattoria la Peschiera, Sovana Rosso DOC Superiore, 2005, 13% 8/10
a fuller, abstemiously oaked wine. nose is black berry, vanilla and some hiht of jasmin. firmed structure plus brilliant, mouth cleaning, balanced acidity, mid-full bodied, spicy mid palate and a long sweet-spicy finish, long.

3. Fattoria la Peschiera, Morellino di Scansano DOC Riserva, 2003, 13.5% 8/10
jammy ripe and rich. full nose of plum, lether, wet wood, earth and game. palate is full but balanced, intergraded oaky flavor, long jammy fruity finish.

4. Cantine Barbera, Nero d'Avola Sicilia IGT 2007, 13.5% 7/10
nose is fresh lively and youthful. there are some fermentation notes still remained. berry fruit, strawberry and sourcherry plus hint of sweet spice, its nose is more lively than other Nero d'Avola. palate is exoticly rich, mid acidity, full, round and youthful. rich jammy fruity finish, mid-long length with a jujube note. drink now to next 3 years

5. Cantine Barbera, Merlot ""Azimut"" Sicilia IGT, 2005, 13.5% 8+/10
very deep and concentrated. it's developing now, nose and palate is very tight, only slight plumy and oaky vanilla notes presents. good depth and complexity on palate, solid struture, long rich full finish. it's about 5~10 year laying down. this Merlot amazingly offers the richness, structure, depth and balanced acidity at the relatively hot climate Sicilia with only 13.5% of alcohol. it suppose to benif from temperate micro-climate, brilliant canopy management and iron rich soil?

6. Cantine Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon ""La Vota, Menfi DOC, 14% 8+/10
very earthy, leafy, ripe and deep nose plus jammy black berry and cassis quality. full bodied concentrated, super rich and ripe on palate, it's still youthful and developing, many black fruit flavor grip the earthy core, full, long rich finish. a wine could age a decade.

7. Caspineda Rosso, Colli Trevigiani IGT, 2003, 13.5%, 9/10
This red Italian Bordeaux blends from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. nose is rich oaky and deep. very subtle, it keeps changing in the glass, switching on and off the Cabernet tobacco leafy, Merlot black berry and plummy, and oaky spicy notes. palate is hugely concentrated, ripe cassis, vanilla and liquorice flavors are lingering, full, youthful, generous, rich and long finish. this wine is sizeable without loosing any finess and elegance reminds me some rich vintage St. Julien.
