夜来酒香:L'Ecole No. 41

       在美国，除了我们熟知的加州外，另外两个主要的产酒区，就是华盛顿州及纽约州。图片中的这款酒就是华盛顿产区的。
       L'Ecole法文是学校的意思，18世纪，华盛顿州西边，西雅图东南面的Walla Walla Valley，有许多加籍法国人聚居于此，遂被称作法国镇，政府将这区域定为41。酒庄利用当年唯一的学校，改为办公楼及试酒室，酒庄因此取名L'Ecole，并在其后加了No 41，以兹纪念。酒标就是绘画的这个学校，色彩和图案突出了儿童天真幼稚的浪漫想象，给成人带来无比轻松的愉悦。就是我心中的美国风格。

       这两瓶酒JJ给我留了好几年了，这次去丹麦首先喝了Merlot，颜色砖红带棕色，过了最好时段。另外一瓶我带了回来，五一节好兴致拿出品尝。

      这酒有92%的cabernet sauvignon，8%的cabernet franc。橡木桶陈酿22个月，不过滤，最大程度体现葡萄酒自然的风味。

      正是我喝的这款2001年的酒得到Tri-Cities Wine Festival 金奖；Washington State Wine Competition – Central WA State Fair银奖

It has a red-fruited poise that Marty Clubb deftly crafts year after year, with Walla Walla aromas of smoked tomato, soy, air dried beef, demonstrative red cherry flavor and a firm texture that feels elegant and stylish. All that elegance begs for a fine cut of beef, like a marbled onglet, smothered in cinnamon-cap mushrooms.” – Patrick J. Comiskey

Wine Spectator 给了87分，描述如下（Date Reviewed: September 30, 2004）
“Rich, with a sharp red pepper and dried herb character at the center, picking up some welcome berry flavors on the firm finsh. Best from 2006 through 2009.” – H.S.

       我能体会的是熏烤香及类似草药的植物香是这酒的特色香，酒体结构好，收尾完整，口感很好，也是它的巅峰时期，一起都那么完美。

       今年我混进了一家美国公司，财富500强之一。能喝到这款美国好酒，和能进入这家百年老店一样，机缘难得。

       压力不可言喻，哪里都有的，不过，有这酒垫底，什么样的酒我都能对付
