Jean-Philippe Delmas Haut-Brion is a First Great Growth of Bordeaux. Actually it is the only one not coming from the Médoc area, but from Pessac Leognan in Graves.Haut-Brion is famous for its regularity, its innovation and its excellence. Let us try to find out some of their secrets. Monsieur Delmas, you are the third generation of Delmas in charge of Haut-Brion. You took the reins last year. How are you dealing with this responsibility ? Is it difficult to succeed a living legend such as your father (Jean Bernard Delmas)? So far, everything is going well. It is an incredible chance. Without my father I would not be there. It is a chance that I spent ten years learning with him. First of all because he is valued by his colleagues as a good oenologist. Therefore, it is always interesting to acquire an experience from a great professional. Of course, we have father and son relationship. Sometimes there were tension in the air, my father is not very patient, but everything went well ! I have to say that I am lucky to have by my side the Dillon's family. They are now at their fourth generation at Haut-Brion. Today I work with the son of the Duchess, the Prince of Luxembourg, who is one year older than me. The generations Delmas and Dillon follow each other. The Duchess was born the same year as my father, the year when the Dillon's family bought Haut-Brion, it was in 1935.
My father was born in the Haut-Brion estate, not in the Ch鈚eau itself. Talking about me, It was better that my mother gave birth at the hospital which is 100 meters (328 feet, 91,5 yards) from Haut-Brion.
We signed a contract with my father as a consultant. We still use his experience. The experience is irreplaceable in the wine business. We only know the emerged part of the iceberg. Chateau La Mission Haut Brion…等。。。 克拉伦斯狄龙先生所拥有的布里翁高地古堡始建于1550年, 是波尔多最古老的城堡,同时也是左岸五大酒庄中格调最雅致的酒庄。今天很荣幸的见到了该酒庄的拥有者以及首席酿酒师。在欣赏完Chateau Haut Brion 的典雅精致的视频介绍以后,话语不多,品酒活动就开始了。 第4款 Chateau la mission Haut Brion 1999 1999这个年分对Grave 地区来说还不错。 色泽:此酒的颜色深红-棕,略带洋葱皮酒边,色调亮度7/10 首香 :成熟的樱桃,以及成熟的浆果,开放度 7/10 愉悦度 7/10 2香: 香料,松针,香木, 开放度8/10 愉悦度 7.5/10 酒体:酒体圆润,平衡度良好,单宁成熟,众多且细腻,回味悠长,富有成熟浆果的气息,持久度 7/10 。 综合点评:香味跨越几类家族,具有良好的复杂程度,口感平衡和圆润表现出该酒进入极好的适饮阶段。 3+5.5+9.8=18.3/20 图片失真,仅供参考。 第5款 Chateau Haut Brion 1997 1997 这个年分对Grave地区以及对Haut Brion 的葡桃园来说是个Good vintage . 在接下来的品尝中也反映出这一点,虽然在该酒饮用温度控制上出现了问题,饮用温度达约18-20度,第1,2,3,款酒分别表现出对高温的不良反应,唯独第4,5款酒以其傲视群雄的姿态几乎没有受高温影响,均有尚佳表现。 色泽:深棕-浓 ,酒色边砖红 ,色调亮度 6/10。 首香:与前面的 La Mission 截然不同,表现出非常良好的开放度9/10和愉悦度9/10 。 松针,皮革,淡雅的花香,香草。 2香:肉类,成熟桑椹,干果,橡木的香味如蜻蜓点水般掠过。 口感:圆润,光滑,单宁细熟,酒体饱满,展现出该年葡萄良好的成熟度,平衡度很好!结构感精致,回味成熟的浆果味,悠长 9/10 。 综合点评:良好的浓缩度,微微甜的口感可能和温度有关,但是并没对整体的平衡带来过多影响,香味的复杂度很高,跨越了水果类,植叶类,花香类,坚果类,橡木赋予类,食物类。复杂度直逼10/10 ,愉悦度和开放程度同样高达9/10。原本典雅的Grave 地区 因为60%的Merlot 而显得格外细腻果实,单宁细滑却有良好的骨架,可谓张弛有度。 3+5.8+10.5=19.3/20 Chateau Haut Brion 1982 Chateau Haut Brion 1988
